Patient Access Financial Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the financial clearance functions, the full-time Manager of Patient Access Financial Clearance will lead pre-registration, payer authorization, and financial counseling efforts to ensure optimal performance and data quality in a telecommuting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Financial Clearance team, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with standards
• Design and implement performance improvement processes to enhance quality, accuracy, and productivity
• Collaborate with other departments to standardize and optimize patient financial clearance processes

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in financial clearance functions and revenue cycle management
• Strong understanding of managed care contracts and specialty insurance billing practices
• Experience in staff management and development, including training and performance evaluation
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial assistance and patient billing
• Ability to analyze key performance indicators and implement strategies for operational improvement
