Job Summary

To lead the financial clearance functions for patient access, the full-time salaried Patient Access Financial Manager will oversee pre-registration, payer authorization, and financial counseling processes while ensuring data quality and staff training in a telecommuting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Financial Clearance team to ensure efficiency and compliance with established policies and procedures
• Design and monitor performance improvement processes to enhance quality, accuracy, and productivity in financial clearance functions
• Collaborate with other departments to standardize and optimize patient financial clearance processes across the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial clearance or revenue cycle management
• Strong understanding of managed care contracts and insurance billing practices
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and improving operational processes
• Familiarity with state and federal financial assistance programs and regulatory requirements
