Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

To facilitate patient access and ensure a smooth entry into healthcare facilities, the full-time Patient Access Representative will manage scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate patient scheduling, registration, and financial clearance processes
• Ensure accurate patient data entry and maintain knowledge of insurance carriers and Medicare guidelines
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and healthcare staff

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred
• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate and establish positive relationships with patients and staff
