Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

Representing the organization with exceptional customer service, the full-time Patient Access Representative will facilitate patient scheduling, registration, and financial clearance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entrance processes including scheduling, registration, and benefit verification
• Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and populated into the patient record
• Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers and compliance with Medicare guidelines and accreditation standards

Required qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred
• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate and establish positive relationships with patients and staff
