Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

To provide exceptional patient service, the full-time Patient Access Representative will manage scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance in a remote environment, ensuring accurate patient data is recorded.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate patient scheduling, registration, and financial clearance processes
• Verify insurance benefits and ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and other regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide exceptional customer service during patient interactions

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college education preferred
• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans
• Proficient in using computer systems and 10-key calculators
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as prolonged standing and walking
