Job Summary

To facilitate patient entry into healthcare facilities, the full-time remote Patient Access Representative will manage scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance while ensuring accurate patient data is recorded.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate scheduling, registration, and financial clearance for patients entering the facility
• Verify patient benefits and ensure compliance with insurance and Medicare guidelines
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide high-quality customer service to patients and staff

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college education preferred
• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans is advantageous
• Proficient in using computer systems and 10-key calculators
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as prolonged standing and walking
