Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

To ensure a smooth patient check-in and discharge process, the full-time remote Patient Access Representative will provide excellent customer service, collect and verify patient information, and explain insurance policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and collect demographic and insurance information
• Schedule appointments, confirm patient information, and process payments
• Handle patient inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior staff as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in admitting, scheduling, registration, or insurance verification preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures preferred
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
