Patient Access Scheduling Representative

Job Summary

To support high-quality patient care, the full-time Patient Access Scheduling Representative will perform a variety of scheduling functions, verify insurance eligibility, and provide exceptional customer service in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Schedules, confirms, and modifies patient appointments while ensuring they are prepared for services
• Coordinates with providers to gather and update necessary patient information for accurate registration
• Verifies insurance eligibility and authorization requirements, ensuring proper patient identification and documentation

Required qualifications:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent is required
• One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
• One year of experience in Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, or related healthcare field
• Associate's/Technical degree in business is preferred
