Job Summary

To enhance patient experience, the full-time Patient Access Specialist will manage patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient registration and verify insurance information to ensure accurate data entry
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to optimize clinic operations
• Assist patients with inquiries and provide information regarding services and procedures

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient access or similar roles
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software
• Knowledge of insurance verification processes and medical terminology
• Ability to work flexible hours, including potential weekends or holidays
