Patient Access Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patients referred for infusion services, the remote Patient Access Specialist will coordinate referrals, manage intake documentation, and facilitate communication among various teams, requiring residency in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone.

Key responsibilities

• Engages with patients, referral sources, and internal teams to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
• Creates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals while ensuring timely access to therapy
• Secures upfront payments from patients and assists in identifying financial assistance options as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related experience
• Ability to multi-task and manage numerous referrals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
• Experience in troubleshooting and collaborating with cross-functional teams
