Patient Access Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patients referred for infusion services, the remote Patient Access Specialist will coordinate referrals, manage intake documentation, and ensure effective communication among various teams while residing in the Central Time Zone.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with patients, referral sources, and internal teams to coordinate discharge and secure necessary nursing and delivery services
• Create and communicate required documentation for new referrals while assisting patients in securing upfront payments and financial assistance
• Support ongoing activities for clean claims management and assist supervisors with special assignments as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related experience
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple referrals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills and detail-oriented focus
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in sales and operations
