Patient Access Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patients referred for infusion services, the remote Patient Access Specialist, who must reside in the Central Time Zone, will coordinate referrals, manage intake documentation, and facilitate communication among various teams to ensure a seamless transition into care.

Key responsibilities

• Engages with patients, referral sources, and internal teams to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
• Creates and communicates all required documentation for new referrals while assisting patients in finding payment avenues
• Supports ongoing activities to ensure clean claims and manage denial follow-ups

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Minimum of two years of related experience is required
• Ability to multi-task and manage numerous referrals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills are essential
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of quality focus
