Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare environment, the part-time hourly Patient Access Specialist will manage patient registration, verify insurance eligibility, and collect financial obligations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Interview patients to gather and document accurate demographic and insurance information
• Perform check-in processes, including collecting co-pays and providing necessary patient notices
• Manage daily worklists, resolve tasks efficiently, and assist in training new staff

Required qualifications

• 2 years of customer service or healthcare revenue cycle experience
• Experience with patient collections in a medical setting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
