Job Summary

To support imaging services, the full-time Patient Access Specialist will manage patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient registration and ensure accurate data entry for imaging services
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration preferred
• Experience in patient access or healthcare registration processes
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare insurance plans
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
