Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Patient Access Specialist will manage patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling while ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient registration and ensure accurate demographic and insurance information is collected
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, communicating with patients regarding coverage details
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and service delivery

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
• Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient access or registration roles
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
