Patient Access Specialist

Job Summary

To facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new patients, the remote Patient Access Specialist will coordinate with various stakeholders, manage documentation, secure payments, and support ongoing claims activities in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engages with patients, referral sources, and internal teams to coordinate patient discharge and service delivery
• Creates and communicates necessary documentation for new referrals while assisting patients in securing upfront payments
• Supports activities for clean claims management and collaborates with the Patient Registration Supervisor on special assignments

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Minimum of two years of related experience is required
• Ability to multi-task and manage various referrals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail are essential
• Experience in troubleshooting and collaborating with cross-functional teams
