Patient Access Specialist - IL Licensed

Job Summary

To support a patient-centered approach, the full-time Patient Access Specialist - IL Licensed will provide exceptional customer service, manage patient scheduling, and ensure accurate collection of demographic information while working remotely from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, or Wisconsin.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, fostering a positive first impression of the organization
• Accurately collect and verify patient demographic information and manage appointment scheduling
• Collaborate with various hospital departments to address patient inquiries and resolve issues as they arise

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of customer service or medical office experience
• Proficiency in computer data entry and typing at 40 wpm
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational and time management skills
