Patient Access Supervisor

Job Summary

Providing operational leadership for insurance verification and authorization processes, the full-time Patient Access Supervisor will oversee daily operations, manage staff performance, and ensure compliance while working in a flexible remote environment with occasional onsite commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coach staff on complex insurance workflows, ensuring high standards of service and compliance
• Serve as an escalation point for high-risk cases, resolving payer disputes and time-sensitive issues
• Develop and implement departmental workflows and training programs to adapt to evolving payer requirements

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree in business or accounting preferred
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management
• Strong knowledge of health insurance plans and authorization processes
