Patient Account Associate

Job Summary

To support the patient revenue process, the full-time Patient Account Associate will manage payment posting and record generation remotely while ensuring compliance with established policies and fostering customer relationships, with a requirement to reside in North Carolina.

Key responsibilities

• Record and generate revenue-related information to impact the patient revenue process
• Initiate and develop customer relationships to resolve issues and optimize reimbursement
• Perform clerical duties including data entry, letter generation, and operating office equipment

Required qualifications

• High school education with some postsecondary education preferred
• Two years of experience in hospital access, physician office, or billing and collections
• Knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles
• Ability to analyze data and perform multiple tasks independently
• Capability to develop and maintain professional, service-oriented relationships
