Patient Account Associate

Job Summary

To support the Patient Revenue Management Organization, the remote Patient Account Associate will manage payment posting and revenue processes while residing in North Carolina, ensuring compliance with policies and fostering customer relationships for accurate reimbursements.

Key responsibilities

• Record and generate information related to the patient revenue process, ensuring high production levels and quality output
• Develop relationships with customers to gather information and resolve issues for accurate reimbursement
• Perform clerical duties including data entry, generating letters, and operating office equipment independently

Required qualifications

• High school education with some postsecondary education preferred
• Two years of experience in hospital access, physician office, or billing and collections, or equivalent education/experience
• Knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles
• Ability to analyze data and perform multiple tasks independently
• Capacity to maintain professional, service-oriented relationships with patients and colleagues
