Job Summary

Seeking a remote Patient Account Associate for Special Programs who will manage the patient revenue process by recording and generating information, ensuring compliance with established policies, and fostering customer relationships, while residing in North Carolina.

Key responsibilities

• Record and generate revenue-related information impacting the patient revenue process
• Develop relationships with customers to gather information and resolve issues for accurate reimbursement
• Perform clerical duties including data entry, generating letters, and operating office equipment

Required qualifications

• High school education with some postsecondary education preferred
• Two years of experience in hospital access, physician office, or billing and collections
• Knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles
• Ability to work independently and make decisions related to work activities
• Experience in maintaining professional, service-oriented relationships with various stakeholders
