Patient Account Associate - Colorado

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle team, the full-time Patient Account Associate - Colorado will manage payment postings, initiate payer recoupments and refunds, and resolve account discrepancies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify and validate payment details, ensuring accurate adjustments to postings
• Initiate and follow up on payer recoupments, refunds, and patient refunds in accordance with policies
• Navigate various payer claim portals and effectively communicate with stakeholders to resolve account issues

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• One (1) year of experience in hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle (Payment Posting, Billing, Follow-Up, Collections) required
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required
