Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and compassionate, the full-time hourly Patient Account Representative I will review and resolve outstanding invoices while ensuring timely follow-up and maintaining financial accuracy in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and resolve outstanding invoices in accordance with departmental policies and productivity standards
• Respond to inquiries via correspondence, email, and telephone within established timelines
• Document all actions taken clearly and accurately to maintain compliance with workflow expectations

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required
• Two to four years of experience in a physician office, hospital registration, collection agency, or professional billing
• Training in medical billing from an educational institution is acceptable
