Job Summary

Supervising a team in the billing and client services department, the full-time remote Patient Accounting Supervisor will manage day-to-day billing and collections activities, participate in strategic planning, and serve as a technical resource for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff and manage daily billing and collections activities
• Participate in strategic planning for the department to improve operations
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and third-party payors to resolve issues

Required qualifications

• High School education (required)
• 2 years of experience in Patient Financial Services (required)
• Experience in Laboratory Billing (required)
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology (preferred)
• Familiarity with Epic Beaker (preferred)
