Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support the financial operations of a growing practice, the full-time Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage patient accounts, ensure timely collection of payments from insurance providers, and resolve billing inquiries while working in a hybrid environment based in Livingston, NJ.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the organization's patient accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely collections
• Handle billing inquiries and track outstanding balances while fostering positive relationships with patients and vendors
• Complete appeals and send necessary documentation to resolve payment discrepancies with insurance providers

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of experience in insurance reconciliation and working with insurance providers
• Previous experience in reproductive medicine or women's health is preferred
• Prior experience with calling insurances and EIVF preferred
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays on a rotating basis
