Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support franchise partners in optimizing patient accounts receivable, the full-time remote Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage collections, process payments, and communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Key responsibilities:

• Research accounts to determine self-pay balances and review financial responsibilities
• Process patient payments, set up payment arrangements, and identify accounts for write-offs
• Maintain clear communication with patients regarding account balances and assist with enrollment in patient assistance programs

Required qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous self-pay collections experience, preferably in a medical setting
• Proven knowledge of collection processes and systems
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and pharmacy applications
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
