Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support franchise partners in optimizing productivity and recovery of outstanding patient accounts receivable, the full-time remote Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage account research, payment processing, and financial communication with patients and caregivers.

Key responsibilities:

• Research accounts to determine self-pay balances and review benefits verification forms
• Process patient payments, set up payment arrangements, and identify accounts for write-off recommendations
• Assist patients with enrollment in assistance programs and provide clear financial communication regarding their accounts

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous self-pay collections experience, preferably in a medical setting
• Proven understanding of collection processes and techniques
• Proficient in MS Office suite and relevant pharmacy applications
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA compliance
