Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support franchise partners in optimizing productivity, the full-time remote Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage the collection of outstanding patient accounts receivable, ensuring effective communication and cooperation with patients, franchisees, and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Research accounts to determine self-pay balances and review financial responsibilities based on verification forms
• Process patient payments, set up payment arrangements, and identify accounts for potential write-offs
• Assist patients with enrollment in assistance programs and provide clear financial communication regarding their accounts

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous self-pay collections experience, preferably in a medical or infusion setting
• Proven knowledge of collection processes and techniques
• Familiarity with MS Office suite and pharmacy applications
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
