Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support franchise partners in optimizing patient accounts receivable, the full-time remote Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage collections, process payments, and ensure effective communication with patients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Research accounts to determine self-pay balances and review benefits verification forms
• Process patient payments, set up payment arrangements, and assist with enrollment in patient assistance programs
• Maintain clear financial communication with patients and franchisees while identifying and escalating problem accounts

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; previous self-pay collections experience preferred
• Proven understanding of collection processes and techniques in a medical setting
• Strong proficiency in MS Office suite and pharmacy applications
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA compliance
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
