Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

To support the financial health of patient care operations, the full-time remote Patient Accounts Representative will process insurance and patient payments, reconcile payment activity, and maintain accurate records while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process insurance and patient payments through electronic and manual payment posting methods
• Reconcile payment batches against daily deposits to ensure accuracy
• Review and post insurance denials and rejection information to support follow-up and collection efforts

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 6+ months of medical billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of coordination of benefits requirements and processes
• Understanding of cash posting regulations and guidelines
• Experience working with insurance denials, rejections, and follow-up activities preferred
