Patient Advocate

Job Summary

To support the billing cycle for assigned client sites, the fully remote Patient Advocate will manage charges, claims, cash, and collections, ensuring accuracy in billing and payment resolutions while demonstrating mastery of radiation oncology-specific coding and payer trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Review charges for accuracy, submit clean claims, and post and reconcile payments daily
• Manage accounts receivable by resolving denials and delinquent insurance balances through follow-up communications and appeals
• Gather and analyze monthly accounting summaries for management and client review, ensuring timely communication

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1+ years of healthcare billing experience preferred
• Medical Oncology experience preferred
• Mastery of Power BI
• Knowledge of insurance plans and patient payment options
