Job Summary
Ensuring patients have adequate insurance coverage, the full-time Patient Benefits Advisor 2 will review schedules, conduct comprehensive service reviews, and educate patients on their financial responsibilities while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Reviews patient schedules to identify uninsured or under-insured individuals and assesses their financial obligations
- Develops global packages for self-pay patients and provides detailed cost estimates within 24 business hours
- Collaborates with various departments and external agencies to facilitate patient understanding of coverage and payment options
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Any relevant education, certifications, and/or work experience may be considered
