Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator, this remote position requires working evenings and weekends to manage patient orders, verify information, and ensure timely delivery of medical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Contact patients regarding equipment delivery, taking orders and verifying patient information
• Process patient orders through the online pharmacy system and resolve any tracking issues
• Obtain necessary medical documentation and troubleshoot problems based on patient feedback

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Background in the medical field with experience in administrative record management preferred
• Experience working with medical equipment preferred
• Familiarity with medical billing processes and reimbursement procedures preferred
• Minimum of one year of related work experience preferred
