Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary

To support referral management operations, the part-time Patient Care Coordinator will ensure accurate processing of referrals, obtain authorizations, and provide exceptional customer service while working remotely on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Manages internal and external referrals, including daily reconciliation activities
• Gathers and processes required referral documentation while meeting established turnaround times
• Answers incoming calls to assist with scheduling, referral inquiries, and support needs

Required qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• 1-2 years of referral management experience
• 1-2 years of medical insurance experience
• 3-5 years of customer service experience
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
