Patient Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support the EMS billing process, the remote Patient Collections Research Specialist will gather and enter necessary patient information for claim resolution, ensuring accuracy and compliance while managing a high volume of tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Research and update patient demographic information required for EMS claims
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account discrepancies and missing information
• Communicate with external parties to obtain or verify necessary documentation

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Collaborative team player with a professional phone presence
• Solid computer proficiency, comfortable with multiple systems
• Previous experience handling sensitive information is helpful
