Patient Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing behavioral health practice, the part-time hourly Patient Collections Specialist will manage inbound and outbound patient communications, resolve outstanding balances, and set up payment plans while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all functions related to the collection of payment on patient accounts
• Communicate directly with patients regarding their financial responsibilities for services
• Manage inbound and outbound calls, answering questions, processing payments, and resolving issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• One year of clerical experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Experience in a call center environment preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
