Patient Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Handling inbound and outbound patient communications, the part-time hourly Patient Collections Specialist will manage payment collections, review patient statements, and set up payment plans while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for all functions related to the collection of payment on patient accounts
• Communicates directly with patients regarding their financial responsibility for services
• Handles inbound and outbound phone calls to answer questions, take payments, and resolve issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• One year of clerical experience in a health care setting preferred
• Experience in a call center environment preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
