Patient Communication Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting both patients and cardiology clinic customers, the full-time remote Patient Communication Specialist will facilitate accurate interactions, manage appointment scheduling, and monitor patient connectivity with home monitoring equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Initiates, receives, and documents interactions with patients while providing outstanding customer service
• Completes data entry and appointment scheduling across multiple information systems
• Collaborates with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met and assists leadership with projects as directed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; college or technical degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
• Basic cardiology knowledge required; experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac devices preferred
• Excellent internet and technology skills, with experience in EHR and remote monitoring tools preferred
• Demonstrated ability to remain professional and courteous with customers
• Experience working effectively in a remote environment preferred
