Patient Communication Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting patient interactions in a full-time remote capacity, the Patient Communication Specialist will manage communications with patients and cardiology clinics, ensuring timely and accurate data entry, appointment scheduling, and troubleshooting of home monitoring equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Initiates, receives, and documents interactions with patients while providing outstanding customer service
• Completes data entry and appointment scheduling across multiple information systems
• Monitors patient connectivity to home monitoring and facilitates troubleshooting as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; college or technical degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
• Basic cardiology knowledge required; experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac devices preferred
• Excellent internet and technology skills, with experience in EHR and remote monitoring tools preferred
• Experience working effectively in a remote environment preferred
• Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy in customer interactions
