Patient Engagement Associate

Job Summary

Supporting patient-centric services, the full-time Patient Engagement Associate will engage with patients via phone and digital platforms to handle registration, appointment scheduling, and clinical communications while working remotely from Pennsylvania, Delaware, or New Jersey.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phones, chats, and digital inquiries, adhering to service level goals and department protocols
• Schedule patient appointments accurately and provide necessary visit preparation information
• Complete patient registration and validate insurance information to ensure timely claim processing

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of customer service, clerical, or healthcare-related experience; 3 years preferred
• Experience using EMR/CRM systems
• Must successfully complete EPIC registration training/tests
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a patient-centric attitude
