Patient Engagement Associate

Job Summary

To support patient services, the part-time Patient Engagement Associate will engage with patients via phone and digital platforms, managing appointment scheduling, registration, and providing customer service in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phones, chats, and digital inquiries while adhering to service level goals and productivity standards
• Schedule patient appointments and provide necessary instructions and documentation for visits
• Complete patient registration and verify insurance information to ensure accurate claim processing

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of customer service, clerical, or healthcare-related experience preferred
• Experience using EMR/CRM systems
• Ability to complete EPIC registration training/tests successfully
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance standards
