Patient Engagement Associate

Job Summary

To support patient interactions in a remote environment, the full-time Patient Engagement Associate will engage with patients via phone and digital platforms, handling tasks such as appointment scheduling, registration, and providing information about services offered by Penn Medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Manage call handling and digital engagement by answering inquiries and adhering to service level goals
• Schedule patient appointments and prepare them with necessary documentation and instructions
• Complete patient registration and verify insurance information for accurate claim processing

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of customer service, clerical, or healthcare-related experience preferred; 3 years preferred
• Experience using EMR/CRM systems
• Must successfully complete EPIC registration training/tests
