Patient Engagement Associate

Job Summary

Engaging directly with patients, the full-time Patient Engagement Associate will provide customer service support via phone, chat, and other platforms, focusing on appointment scheduling, registration, and referral navigation in a remote capacity for residents of PA, DE, and NJ.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phones, chats, and digital inquiries while adhering to service level goals and productivity standards
• Schedule patient appointments accurately and provide necessary visit preparation information
• Complete patient registration and verify insurance information to ensure timely claim processing

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of customer service, clerical, or healthcare-related experience preferred; 3 years preferred
• Experience using EMR/CRM systems
• Must successfully complete EPIC schedgistration training/tests
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a patient-centric attitude
