Job Summary
Proactively engaging with patients through various digital channels, the full-time remote Patient Engagement Specialist will educate individuals about healthcare services, assist with navigation, and manage both outbound and inbound communications to enhance patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Reach out to patients via phone, text, chat, and email to engage them in healthcare programs and services
- Build rapport and motivate patients to take action regarding their health through empathetic communication
- Collaborate with teams to resolve patient needs and improve the overall patient experience
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in healthcare, customer service, or a related field
- Experience communicating with customers or patients across multiple digital platforms
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and patient navigation
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and use various technologies and digital tools
- A high school diploma or equivalent
