Patient Finance Representative
Job Summary
Helping patients navigate complex billing and insurance processes, the full-time Patient Finance Representative will perform administrative duties such as confirming insurance, securing authorizations, and collecting payments while working onsite in a professional environment from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Manage billing inquiries and provide financial estimates to patients
- Secure insurance authorizations and confirm coverage for services
- Assist patients with payment options and financial assistance resources
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Business preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience, specifically in oncology billing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work in a metrics-driven, task-oriented environment
- Experience with in-bound and out-bound calls related to billing and insurance
