Job Summary

To enhance the revenue cycle for assigned clients, the full-time Patient Financial Services Manager will manage staff development, ensure compliance with billing standards, and oversee daily operations in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and implements professional development plans for team members while ensuring regular communication regarding departmental goals
• Monitors key performance indicators to maintain compliance with organizational expectations and reports significant issues to management
• Researches billing industry standards and ensures team members are cross-trained on relevant deliverables

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial medical claims billing and patient accounting
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
• 3-5 years of management experience in a hospital business office overseeing billing and insurance functions
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial billing
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare routine financial reports
