Job Summary
Working remotely in Missouri or Illinois, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative will assist patients in understanding their financial responsibilities, educate them on financial assistance programs, and manage patient inquiries regarding insurance benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Assists patients in understanding their insurance benefits, including co-payments and deductibles
- Educates patients about financial assistance programs when applicable
- Obtains patient demographic information and determines coverage qualifications with third-party payers
Required qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of relevant work experience
- No prior experience required
- Experience with EHR, healthcare, and call center environments is preferred
- Strong customer service and computer skills
- Must reside in MO, IL, OK, or WI, with a preference for MO and IL residents
