Patient Financial Services Representative

Job Summary

To support patient billing and collection activities, the full-time remote Patient Financial Services Representative will manage claims status checks, resolve denials, and ensure timely payments while collaborating with various departments and utilizing multiple systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Process payments, adjustments, and claims accurately, coordinating with staff to meet productivity goals
• Research and resolve account balances and denials, making necessary appeals and corrections
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to calls and assisting patients and providers with billing issues

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• One or more years of experience in patient financial services or the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of common office software, including word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with diverse audiences
