Patient Financial Services Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Patient Financial Services Representative will manage patient billing and collection activities, ensuring timely reimbursement for services while collaborating with insurance companies to resolve outstanding payment issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Process payments, adjustments, claims, and correspondence accurately and timely to meet productivity goals
• Research and reconcile account balances and payments, addressing denials and discrepancies with payors
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and internal clients, resolving billing and payment issues through effective communication

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Medical Insurance Accounts Receivable
• Minimum of 1 year experience with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and posting errors
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision
