Patient Registration Specialist

Job Summary

To facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new patients, the remote Patient Registration Specialist will engage with patients and referral sources from Tuesday through Saturday, coordinating discharge and securing necessary documentation while assisting with payment options and managing claims.

Key responsibilities

• Engages with patients, referral sources, and internal teams to coordinate discharge and nursing services
• Creates and communicates required documentation for new referrals and secures upfront payments
• Supports claim management activities and assists supervisors with special assignments as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years of related experience required
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
• Experience in troubleshooting and collaborating with cross-functional teams
